Maualuga Update
Linebacker Rey Maualuga (hip pointer) said he felt much better and did not rule out playing despite the fact he did not practice.
``Now I’m seeing myself playing,’’ Maualuga said. ``I can’t run full speed yet. There’s some pain there. I’m not counting myself out of the game.’’
But USC Pete Carroll was much less optimistic and said Maualuga was unlikely to play.
Sit it out Rey, we are going to need you big time for Oregon and Cal. As much as I would love to see you level that walking death stick QB they have, save it for the big ones coming up!!!
