More Than He Thinks

Washington coach Ty Willingham recently made this comment reflecting back on the Huskies-USC game:
"How many of our starters, when we lined up against USC that night, would start for them?"

This kind of reminds me of the Lakers a few years back when they acquired Malone and Payton to go with their other super stars. Everybody wrote in world championship guaranteed, but we all know what happened.

A true team is where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. SC has not arrived yet. But they might.

Most wouldn't start because they would be injured!

These guys still would not start at USC. Last time I checked Washington and Ty lost that game.

SC's problem is scoring points...end of story.

I think Ty's patting himself on the back for outcoaching Pete. But everyone's outcoached Pete this season except dead-man walkin at Nebraska.

Seriously. He out-coached Pete Carroll. So what? Who hasn't? It's annoying as an SC fan but it's not a revelation. And UW DID put points on us as did Stanford and Oregon with injured linemen and BOTH starting wide receivers out with injuries. I can't wait til we get good coaches again and put these cockroaches back in their place.

Tyrone needs a big tall glass of Shut the Hell Up! Maybe he should worry about the Huskies being winless in conference. UW should bring in Cheesecake Charlie to right the ship.

Trust me Lawyer John, the people here in Detroit had a good laugh watching Malone, Kobe et al go down...made me mad because I am a lakers fan.

But yep...lots and lots of trash talking after the Pistons won about the supposed LA "dream team" getting swept...

I don't think TY outcoached PC because TY's not that great of a coach..it was just the usual "who gives a rat's ass it's Washington" game by the USC players.

You have to question the players, too. Obviously "Sark" has some kind of a closed head injury. But PC is trying, and is frustrated by the players not developing like turner/Hazelton/Washington.
He is just not trying hard enough.

Lots of blame to go around for a disaster of this magnitude.

Did they read too much of their press? Are they just waiting to get into the NFL?

The lawyer is right and the rest of you stink. The fact the rest of you disrespect Mr. Ty Willingham in such an arrogant manner it is just plain repulsive. Furthermore your lack of sportsmanship is even more nauseating. It is a good thing that I don't know any of you personally because I'd rather be dead than be seen with you, pathetic.

Hey door, um... don quixote...
the feeling is mutual.

Mitch_Brasky:
your "don quixote" is definitely a racial epithet on your part. From unsportsmanlike and classless to racist we have been warned whom you are.
