Mustain Item Of The Day

Quarterback Mitch Mustain experienced a rough end to Monday's practice. He fumbled a snap and then on the last play, scrambled for the end zone but fumbled the ball, setting off a scramble before it was recovered by the defense.
``I was gone (for a touchdown),'' he said. ``I had it. I went to put the ball away and it hit my hip.''

Seeing as how Mr Mustain has been nothing short of phenomenal every day during practice for the past two months, one letdown in that time is hardly anything to concern himself about.

Keep working hard, Mitch. You make us all proud to be Trojans.

Agreed. Mustain has been very consistent against the 1st team defense. This is nothing to worry about. Quite uncharacteristic for him.

LOLz. "Mr. Mustain is a FINE YOUNG MAN." How dare you say something negative, Scott?

Well where you usual suspects? MM is the QB of the future, years ahead, etc. What is he ahead of?
You know that it would be untrue...
I borrowed that line from The Doors Light My Fire.
Come on baby light my fir>>>E, yeah!

Correction:
Well, where ARE you usual suspects?
Thank you

Scott Wolf

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
