VIVA SANCHEZ!

FIGHT ON!

¡It's showtime, it's Mark's time!
¡Viva Sánchez!

Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Actually, I have convinced myself that PC is using the JDB finger as an excuse to let Sanchez run as long as he is hot. They are really giving Mark an extended tryout due to JDB's string of inadequate performances leading the college football equivalent of a Ferrari Testarossa offense. Only, when JDB's finger is 100% healthy in another week or two, will PC address the issue of the permanent job, and if Sanchez continues performing as the superstar that he has shown thus far by beating UO, PC will be able to anoint Mark as the Man without much dissent from the fans. I've said it time and time again....JDB is an outstanding young man and has a very nice arm when unopposed behind a strong O-line, but Mark has something special, the something special that superstar QBs and championship teams are made out of. I believe that Mark and a great D effort will lead to a win in Eugene and a return to the BCS race. Fight on! Beat the Ucks!

superstar? i hope, but it's way 2 early to bestow him with that superlative.

Superstar? I hear you, just4sc. That is a forecast, rather than an anointment. But, I see it in the kid. Do you? He has something special, it's fascinating and exciting, and it may sustain our existence on the pinnacle for at least a few more years. I am an alum in TX and have absolutely no affiliation with MS, but I clearly see something spectacular in the kid. And, please don't think of me as a JDB-hater...I think he is a fantastic young man. Alas, Sanchez just has that certain QB X-factor that JDB doesn't. But, I am so curious as to why the JDB fans don't see it? Do you see anything different in persona/aura/intagibles between JDB and MS, just4sc, or do you not see it and favor experience and "games under the belt"? Fortunately, PC/Sark are buying in, and Mark gives us a good shot in Eugene and our only hope at a BSC game. In my opinion, of course.....

If Sanchez keeps his wits about him, and doesn't force the ball, he could have a great game. However, I still stress that we need to pound the ball on the ground all day long to keep the Duck offense off the field. I'd like to see about 25 passes and 40 runs, or similar ratio.

yes trojanman, I see a lot of good stuff in Mark. Even PC has remarked how well the players respond to him, but when he makes a mistake will he be yanked?

Well, well I am the [BIGGEST] Mark Sánchez fan here. In fairness to Mark and his critics intelligently and objectively ALLOW Mark to develop into that superstar. Based on PC's original assessment JDB's finger would take three to six weeks to heal. Assuming PC is correct it means that Mark will start the next three games. The question then will be do you bench Mark Sánchez with two games left and assuming that USC wins those three games? Furthermore that will make Mark Sánchez FIVE and O. Let me caution you it could happen and then wake me up!
One more time!:
¡It's showtime, it's Mark's time!
¡Viva Sánchez!

I'm happy for Mark. He has the Eagle Eye.

I have confidence in him.

Fight On

I've been Mark's biggest supporter on this board right behind Door Prize, but I want to make sure people keep their expectations tempered a little bit. We can't expect a young man making his third start to go into Eugene and play like Leinart right off the bat. I'd like to see Pete give him a little bit of a long leash, that way if he does struggle a little, he'll have a chance to play out of it. The only thing tougher than going into a game green is going into a game knowing that if you make a mistake you'll get yanked.
That said, here's to Mark! And here's to what I hope is the beginning of renewed dominance at the quarterback position!
Fight On!

Thank you my friend. AM I your friend? BTW I agree with you 100%. If I failed to convey that please forgive me and tell me what should I stated instead.
Thanks
