As USC coach Pete Carroll departed the field, the Notre Dame fans chanted, ``F--- Pete Carroll.'' They should have performed a similar cheer for Charlie Weis when he left.

LOL, nice, Scott.
Does today make Carroll the most hated opponent since Anthony Davis? He's certainly turned the series on its head in seven years.

Classy! Maybe they're taking lessons in good sportsmanship from those guys at UCLA that cut some dude's eye with a glass bottle last year.

Wow - I would never expect this type of behavior from true Irish fans, Bruins and Bears yes, but not ND. When we suffered through our 13 year winless streak, our fans never stooped to that level. I'm proud to be a Trojan today, mostly because of the class of my fellow fans and alums.

Don't fool yourself 93-ND is as dirty as they come.
In 1966 they beat USC 51-0 and were throwing the ball when the game ended with the first stringers still in there.
In 1977 when they originally wore those horrible uniforms, they ran the score up to 49 when they beat us
Just about all of Lou Holtz's recruits were thugs and gangsters
they used to do things like throw dirt in the eyes of the USC players on the bottom of the pile
In the georgia tech game this year, "zibby" stomped on one of the GT players when he was on the ground
Their fan boards are full os postings like "USC cheats" "All the USC players are on steroids" "Pete Carroll is an asshole"

Hey, what happened with the flight in? I've heard a couple references to it today, but can't find anything now. Some of us don't live and breathe USC football 24/7 you know...

Bosco they ran into a storm near south bend and hit a huge pocket of turbulence and the plane dropped like 2000 ft and threw some of the player out of their seat...the pilot circled around the storm and landed as usual
