The Blame Game
Pete Carroll said quarterbacks always get blamed when a team loses but even John David Booty's interceptions are more than just his fault.
``There’s a lot of things that go into it but I’m not going into it,'' he said. ``It’s real easy to point it all at the quarterback. I’m not going to do that.''
He also knows USC fans turned on him and the Trojans.
``I was in the NFL for 16 years. It went week to week,'' he said. ``I totally understand it. It turns in the wink of an eye.''

OK Scott...so what are they going to do about it? You've piled on plenty, so how about you give us some answers or at least some proof that you're looking for them.

Now that the Chargers have won a game and they may not be looking for Pete's services in a few months, do you think Pete will finally go back to coaching his current team? He should be refreshed, since he has taken the last two weeks off. What a joke to be outcoached by Willingham and Captain Comeback. Is Paul Hackett hiding somewhere in Heritage Hall? Pete is letting his past success go to his head.

Not to put the blame on JDB, but just because he can play with a fractured finger, doesn't mean he should. The overthrown passes (including that game-ending interception) could be attributed to JDB not following through on this throws as a result of him not wanting to hit his hand again.

I'll piggyback chuckytrojan's sentiments and paraphrase the great Chris Rock:
"Yeah you could play QB with a broken finger, but that don't mean it's to be done. I could drive a car with my feet, but that don't make it a good f%ing idea!"
Let's try Sanchez. If that doesn't work, there's always Mustain or Corp next year.
Exuse me, I just threw up in my mouth again.

My question is... Why isn't anyone pointing out that SC should not have even been throwing the ball on that last drive. With under 3 minutes to play and a 6 point lead why not run the ball and eat up the clock to secure the win. JDB may have his problems, but I blame this loss on the coaching staff and poor play calling.
