Mustain should hire Sanchez as his PR agent!

Sanchez had his chance of a lifetime today and he pretty much just handed the 2008 starting job to Mustain. I wonder if Sanchez is on Mustain's payroll.

Player of the Game goes to Joe McKnight. The kicking game was USC's salvation. Sanchez is completely out of his league at the college level. No way he beats out Mustain.

The whiners can whine all they want, but a win is a win. Go Trojans. Beat the Irish. And go Kentucky - kill this LSU team.

Booty is far better than Sanchez and that was proven without a doubt today. We need Booty back or no way we'll win more than one or two more games the rest of the season. We were 21 point favorites and barely pulled out a win against a horrible Arizona team at home.

Booty is not the savior but he's better than Sanchez. Maybe Mustain is the savior that everyone says he is, I don't know. But Sanchez is just a stop gap until Booty gets better. Never want to have to rely on Sanchez again.

Why does he keep saying "forth?"
Yes, a win is a win. But the expectation's been so high, this is a practically a loss. Can't wait for this season to be over.

Sanchez proved he is a turnover machine. Never going to be ready for primetime. Even McDonald would be better at this point.

I agree: it's "Forth Quarter" as in go forth and conquer. And it's a win because the way it had gone the previous eight quarters, no one expected USC to come back from 13-10.

But I disagree: Sanchez gives USC a better chance to beat Notre Dame than Booty. He made some plays with his feet, which with a makeshift offensive line and young receivers, this team needs. It gives the offense the opportunity to grow together, too, which helps for next year.

Boy Just4SC, you should change your name to JustQuitonSC.

The one positive of this game - at least the SC punter got plenty of playing time today, probably more than the rest of the season. Sanchez just can't get the first down.

SC needs Booty back for the real games or it's back to the Sun Bowl in El Paso or, even, the dreaded Las Vegas Bowl!

Just tough to watch this meltdown...if I'm a jinx-I just won't watch. Anything to help the team.

LSU just got beat which indictates there are no great teams out there this year. Football is a difficult sport to play and win, so be thankful for any victory.

And I thought Sanchez was ok for his first start, but Booty carries the Trojans' hopes this year, coupled with more McKnight bolts.

Dont be so hard on Sanchez, for his first start I thought he did OK, one of his own INTs was just a battle that Rojo didnt fight for(or even try to knock it down). Overall he made enough plays to get the W and I think he showed a whole lot more emotion and fire than Booty EVER has. Booty should take some notes on how to inspire a team on a drive and how to move your feet to get a first down on your own. If JDB isnt 100% this week I say go with Sanchez again. Thank goodness JoMAC had some big plays.

There were six throws by Sanchez that could have been intercepted if the Arizona defense had better hands, so Sanchez is lucky that he only two of his throws were intercepted.

McKnight is a prodigy. Without him, this game would have been a loss.

Now that the FOURTH quarter is over, I think some of you should rethink your comments a little. The dropped pass problem is a receivers problem. Heck, the ball is thrown right on the numbers. They are not looking at the ball long enough and either afraid of a hit or turning upfield too soon. Timing, poise. Experience. BTW: At least the Sanchez Int's did't result in immediate TD's like Booty's. Give some credit already. Give the guys a chance. Maybe this season won't result in a NC or even the RB, but that is no reason to give up. I think in 2002, we had 2 losses before beating Iowa in the Orange Bowl, and THAT was the year everyone thought we should be against LSU for the NC. Some of you are too young to remember, or you have VERY short memories.

Sanchez was booed for a reason. It's sad when he's our third best QB and the best one can't even play until next year.

Wait a minute a quarterback actually leads us back from a 4th quarter deficit. I thought he had a splendid game. It being his 1st game w/ a makeshift O Line. The OLine couldn't do anything for Sanchez or the backs. Booty looses us this game folks.

Looking at the paper this morning and seeing that Sam Baker and Zack Heberer ALSO went out with injuries, makes this victory more impressive. What other team using a 3rd string O-line and depletions at almost every other position, could come from behind like this. Cal? Not hardly. All they were missing was a QB, talk about bad coaching. in the minds of the USC fans that QB's mistake should be career-ending. Congratulations Trojan team for showing some guts and poise. On to South Bend!!
