"Besides center Kris O'Dowd, who is out with a knee injury, no other freshman starts for the Trojans regularly."
Freshman Stanley Havili has started every game. I assume you don't include true freshman Everson Griffen because he only started one game or redshirt freshman David Ausberry. btw, freshman Butch Lewis will start this Saturday against Notre Dame.

Yes, Havili is a redshirt freshman. But Wolf doesn't specify that he's only referring to "true freshmen" and not every "freshman," as he wrote in his article. Hence, his comment is not accurate. Btw, how many true freshmen are starting for major programs this year? Not many.
Wolf has a habit of beginning his leads with an unspecified, unverifiable, anonymous source (i.e. his false claim that Lendale White failed a dug test before the draft and that Mario Danello committed “suicide”).
Very poor journalism…

66, glad to see you've stepped off the ledge! Welcome back!
Now if only we could get Scott to stop writing stories with single anonymous, unverifiable sources.

I remember a game against ND in 1974, I was there. The first half everyone sounded like a lot of the posters and Wolf do this week. Whining, complaining, fire McKay, get another QB, get AD out of there, etc., etc. Running game stinks (ha!) In the second half, well, you all know what happened. Fight on!
