Apparently our team has gotten away from "taking care of the ball".
There are several NFL that solely survive by this creedence - and win.
Since when does our team not win the "turn-over" battle?
I blame our QB. Throwing the ball behind a receiver, or over their head is unacceptable. If JDB were hitting his receivers "right there" consistently - then it would be a WR problem.
I am a long-time fan - and have seen hundreds of USC games (and players). JDB is going to go down in history of one of the worst USC QB's ever. He has nothing on ORTON, PERRY, or SALISBURY.
JDB (Just Die Biotch) has no touch on the ball - cannot scramble to save a sack (in fact in this Stunford game he ran right back to a tackle AFTER he eluded the tackler once).
How long will PC stay with JDB.
The fact that he was listed as a Hiesman candidate is a joke - save that classification for the players who maybe NFL bound - JDB better be getting an education at USC - becuase he has not future in Football - unless a team is looking for a QB with slow happy feet, who can't look off a receiver, but has a cannon for an arm, which he uses to throw behind, or over the head, of his receiver.
USC Lost to Stanford at home. USC almost lost to Wash. St. on the road - and JDB has thrown 6 picks in 2 games.
Something is wrong.
Why coundn't we run the ball down their throats? Why couldn't we use the screen pass? Why couldn't we use the draw? why can't we use the shot gun?
For the sake of running off to the NFL - why are we not winning with the talent we have?
4 years of recruiting some of the best of the best does not result in this type of play.
If its not the talent on the field - then its the coaching.... and if its not the coaching - then the team is HAVING TOO GOOD OF A TIME (PARTYING).
And if the team is enjoying themsleves (while losing) - then at least invite the fans to the party - so we can have a goodtime too... Cause quite frankly its too f'ing painful to watch USC play football without being totally blasted out of our minds.
Party On!

Just what do you mean by "long time fan?" Do you not remember Brad Otton or John Fox or Mike VanRaaporst?? JDB is head and shoulders over those guys, and those are just the ones I can think of in my lifetime. No offense to those guys...that was a dark period for USC football. Chill out man. The sky is not falling.
