Who Played?
Time to look at the participation chart, which showed freshmen safety Marshall Jones and defensive tackle Christian Tupou did not play against Arizona. Readers here already know my feelings about the pair not redshirting.
On the bright side, freshman linebacker Malcolm Smith did play special teams.

I don't think redshirting a few players is really all that big an issue, especially right now with all the injuries. I think more than anything - the coaches need to be getting ALL the players up to a high quality of play since so many players are being forced into action that usually wouldn't be.
I thought Ronald Johnson did not have a great game, he should have been able to fight Cason for the interception, hell RoJo was the #2 CB coming out of high school. However, all the WRs dropped passes that they really needed to catch to help Sanchez. USC looks like the college version of the New Orleans Saints with all those dropped passes and stalled drives.
participation chart?
no one tells me anything.
I agree Scott. The only thing I can say is that PC "doesnt' like to redshirt"
from what I hear...and take this into account..if KE has a broken nose, we are gonna need all the safeties we can get!
Especially against that monster ND passing attack!
HAHAHA
ND SUCKS MONKEY BALLS
We know how you feel cause you keep repeating it and repeating it and repeating it ad nauseam.
USC is down to 3rd stringers at certain defensive and offensive spots. If PC wants to burn redshirts so he can get starters some rest one one play, in one game I have no problem with it. Redshirts are over-rated.
If I might I'd like to paraphrase your dismissive response to my C.J. Gable question in a Forum 2 weeks ago: 'Why do you care?!'
Maybe you should actually start watching the games instead of just reading the chart. Marshall Jones has been playing special teams, Bozo.
