Tavita Pritchard will start at QB for Stanford after starter T.C. Ostrander experienced seizures.
"I'm excited for his opportunity to be able to play," Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh said. "He is very athletic, good arm, throws the ball accurately."
I bet SC is excited for his opportunity to play, too. What is the betting line now?-- it was 39 to 40 points before this news.
T.C.Ostrander, Stanford's starting QB had a seizure in a restaurant last weekend. He stayed in the hospital overnight for observation and went home the next day. Hopefully there's no serious problems.
I hope Ostrander gets well soon. For a person to experience seizures at such a young age is scarry.
Let's see...Stanford at the Coliseum with a first-year coach and inexperienced QB. SC coming off a disappointing road performance, losing the #1 ranking and with a week of hard practice to fix things. If only Coach McKay were here...he might get his wish this Saturday.
