USC safety Kevin Ellison was reluctant to discuss his highlight-play hit against DeSean Jackson last season.
``It was a nice little hit,’’ Ellison said. ``I don’t really want to talk about it though, it’s last year. Nobody really talks to me anyways, so I don’t know if that was a big play or not. You don’t focus on one receiver anyways.’’

Mays said that nobody ever talks to him. Perhaps that is becase a reporter talking to a safety is like talking to a baseball umpire. They usually only want you if you blew a play.
