This is why SC wants to take over control of the Coliseum to make some significant modifications and add the luxury boxes, more prime seating, along with the requisite bathroom and concession stand upgrades, etc.
More dinero for the program, higher ranking on this list.

Not sure if I buy into the methodology, but it clearly seems to be biased toward small market, big state school programs that generate tons of incremental revenue for the small college town. But, clearly, USC needs a better stadium situation in which it has more control. I wouldn't want to touch that leviathan with a 10-foot pole, but Mike Garrett, do your damn job! JK, Mike G, we love you. Now that we have Galen, we need a Goux or McKay football stadium. Buy the Sports Arena and Coliseum real estate from the city,knock it ALL down, and build a new, luxury football arena. And, do it by 2010. Or, at least consider this modest proposal!

Also, these valuations seem to be biased, as there is not a suitable denominator I.e., a school with a larger student population is compared equally with a school with a smaller population. If you compared a private school like USC with the others on a per student or per alumni basis, our value per "share" would be much higher. Of course U of Texas is high, they are one of the largest schools in terms of student population and alumni with a decent football team in the country. Based on this methodology, any big school in a small to medium-sized town with a decent football team will be highly valuable.

1. You're out of line with your quick judgment trigger mentality. Obviously it is NOT as simple as you make it to be. Your opinion is noted and you don't get paid to opine.

A fellow Trojan told me that his father taught him never think that you are never better than anybody else. I was taught the same. That is WHY I made it a point about that thread. In fact he also told me that PC preaches HUMILITY to his players. One proof of that point is an interview by CH. 11(LAABC)Ron Fukusaki. Responding to the other blogger I am NOT, I repeat I am NOT the site monitor NOR I pretend to be, either. Furthermore I am NOT arrogant. I have been a Trojan fan for a long time and I did NOT attend USC. Is it a requirement that I attend USC in order to be an USC fan? Think how that sounds. I am an ex-Marine. Do you have to be a trained Marine to be an USMC fan? Please think about that. BTW Marines are humble...
