Scott, I've always thought you were a different kinda cat, and seeing the way you were giggling like a school girl with Pete Carroll only solidifed that.
I formally request that all blogs be done by video. They are classic.
That was terrific. Reminded me of the days of Ali and Cossell. Classic...
Awesome. The best video blog yet.
That was quite entertaining. Pete has a great sense of humor. Scott needs to move the microphone a bit more, however. Otherwise, you can't hear some of the comments made by Pete.
Scott violated one of the basic rules of Journalism 101, however, by injecting himself into the questioning...might have been nice to get Pete to talk about ASU, instead.
"Scott violated one of the basic rules of Journalism 101"??? Scott violates EVERY rule of Journalism 101, but that's okay. This is probably the best place on the net to get good Trojan info, and unquestionably the best place on the net to get facetious Trojan info, so I'll take it.
On a completely unrelated note, if I'm Mike Bellotti, I'm a little concerned about an Arizona team that seems to be getting better as the season has gone on. After a rough start, Zona played SC tough, lost to Stanford by 1 (we can all relate to that), beat UW in Seattle, and beat FUCLA. Oregon is down 2 receivers and a good running back, they don't play as well outside of Eugene, and Dennis Dixon is coming off a minor knee injury. I'm not saying Arizona is beating UO tonight, but it wouldn't shock me.
Needless to say, I'll be watching that game tonight.
This was like Perez Hilton interviewing Pete. It's nice to see that the Daily News and CBS/KCAL set their journalism standards so high!
Scott looks extremely uncomfortable on camera and with the microphone, and talking to Pete makes Scott look uneasy. However, getting footage from practice on this blog is kinda neat. Why not get a video snippet 3-4 times a week from practice on the blog, intereviewing a player or another coach? I got a sense that Pete is a down-to-earth guy from watching him on camera, so it's no wonder that recruits enjoy his visits and that his players love playing for him. And as the parent of a future (hopefully) college athlete, Pete is a perfect example of a person I would want teaching my child.
