We hear Ole Miss coach Ed Orgeron, the former USC assistant, was told he would return as coach next season.

I heard that former QB coach Carl Smith actually visited practice this week and might be looking for a job for 2008. Smith was the QB guru for Leinart in 2004, a pretty good year for Matt and the Trojans.

Think maybe Mark or Mitch could benefit from Carl's tutelage?
