Quote Of The Day
Pete Carroll is still lamenting the loss to Stanford, especially since the Cardinal are 1-3 since beating USC. The Cardinal had 253 yards offense against Washington, which allowed 1,719 yards to its previous three Pac-10 opponents.
``We need to do a better job coaching,'' Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh said.

Let's be honest, it was one of the worst losses ever in USC history but I think it's time to get over it. What's done is done. We've learned from it, now it's time to move on and think about Cal.

It goes to prove that everyone marks down the USC game on the calendar a year in advance, and it becomes their Super Bowl/Rose Bowl/biggest game of the year/decade. If we don't focus on each game that way, we'll get beat every once in awhile. I was guilty of this too - I actually thought the Stanford and ND dates were 'gimmes', and I was only 50% right. But I'm not on the team, so it doesn't hurt anyone if I think it...
Next up, Cal - and if we aren't careful, it won't matter that they've lost 3 in a row. They're looking to stop the slide with a 'huge win' over USC, and we better think of them as the team that beat the Ducks up in Eugene. Yikes...

Well like they say, it's your bed you lie in it
By JDB's 3rd INT it was time for Sanchez...whether anyone knew about the broken finger or not. But PC did't want to start any "QB controversy" and of course the USC machine never yanks it's annointed starter, so....
OH well..like TK said time to move on. Maybe next year will be better..

Hey 1966, did you take your medication? You seem quite reasonable today.
