SOS!

USC moved up 10 spots and now ranks 80th in strength of schedule. The Trojans could finish around 58th by the end of the season, no thanks to Notre Dame or Nebraska.

Gosh, Scott, you never disappoint. If a sarcatic opinion can be employed, you will be the first in line.

And what about that blogger's comment about giving Oregon its due. Come on, man. This does raise my blood pressure. I have a funny feeling with your sensitivity that you do in fact read these blogs. Give Oregon its due! Your AP vote matters. And we are not asking for charity here, but only reality-- Oregon, with a healthy Dixon, is No. 1. Period.

Weis and Callahan screw us up too..... Scott, curious if you have heard anything about the television coverage of the Cal game. It has been promoted all year as an ABC 5 p.m. telecast. However, yesterday during the promos for next Saturday's 5 p.m. games, they only mentioned B.C. - Maryland and Kansas - Ok State... Now, on the ESPN site, they are not listing our game as an ABC family of networks broadcast.. My guess is this will maybe switch over to ESPN 2....

Lawyer John, I saw your post over on our neck of the Duck pond. Thanks for being so complimentary of our team. You are a true gentleman. I would also like to extend my eternal gratitude for utterly humiliating our little brother to the North. That was a very dominant performance that even 1966 had to like. Looks like USC is back in the mix. Good luck, God speed, and Go DUCKS!!!

Here it would appear that ABC, not ESPN, will be showing the game at 5pm.

Our schedule this season has really been a moving target - at least versus is not in the mix as of now!!!

Duckman - As an SC fan for 40 years, I am in no way, shape or form an Oregon fan, but the Ducks are an excellent team. I implored Scott to vote them #1, as They clearly deserve it. I hope they have a chance to play for the title, and that they crush either OSU or LSU, which they should be able to.

If Oregon makes the NC game and USC wins out to go to the rose bowl, I hope SC draws some school other than Michigan. Its become very boring to play Michigan every time although it is a guaranteed victory!

I never in a million years would believe Kansas football would ever score 76 points on a Nebraska team. The Husker defense should be called the Pink Shirts after that performance.

If Kansas beats Missouri and OU in the Big 12 CS game, the BCS still mayhave their dream championship matchup.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
