Sunday Night With Caesar
There's been an unspoken feeling all season that the coaching staff wanted Chauncey Washington to be the top tailback and Pete Carroll said the weather at Cal reinforced his decision.
``Chauncey was secure with the weather and could handle it all,'' Carroll said. ``You put a new guy out there and you're not sure.''
And what about the inability to ever complete a pass between John David Booty and Ronald Johnson?
``(Booty's) always ahead of RoJo and anticipated him running those balls down,'' Carroll said. ``In games for some reason, he's just missed him.''

maybe because booty can't throw reliably under pressure?
hey Pete! if he's "always ahead of 'RoJo", maybe one of them should adjust?....isn't that what coaches are for?
just a thought.....
