Surprise Decision

The idea that freshman defensive end Everson Griffen would start over junior Kyle Moore was not earth shattering because of Moore's bruised nerve in his arm, except for one thing: No one told Moore. Or Griffen.
``I didn’t know that,’’ a disappointed Moore said.
Griffen's emotions were exactly the opposite. ``To be able to start in Arizona, I can’t wait,’’ he said.

Here's a better question Scott:

USC will not have a 1000 yd rusher this year, or 1000 yd WR, and JDB might not even get 2000 yards passing. (I know he was hurt) I think Chauncey might end up with 750 yds or so..same for Fred Davis.

In other words, our offense is the definition of PATHETIC

It wasn't much to speak of last year, either. What did we rush for in the Rose Bowl, like 12 yards total or something?

I cannot see any reason why it will be any different next year.

So, at what point is Sarkisian's job in jeopardy?

2009? 2010?

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
