The Grapevine
We did a little digging and found out Raiders coach Lane Kiffin is not interested in the Arkansas job.

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Well, yeah, the guy already has a job.
Or maybe he's following the USC/Coliseum drama and is holding out for a better deal.
Lane has made the right choice by staying at the sludge of the bay in Oakland, rather than dealing with the trough of Fayettville.
Do you really have to "dig" that deep to figure out that a first year NFL head coach wouldn't want to leave to become a first year college head coach (making substantially less money)?
College head coaching positions are meant for burnt out/despondent/rejected NFL head coaches, mediocre NFL offensive and defensive co-ordinators and big name head coaches from smaller college programs.
That was obviously an HogBlog story that got blown out of proportion. I think Lane is kicking but in Oakland given the situation that he inherited. He's get another top draft pick this year, hopefully, a McFadden type. Add that to Jamarcus, and the Raiders will clearly be a team on the move next year. Go Lane! And, please, for the love of God, retire, Al!
And in case you were wondering - PC fits into the first category, Karl Dorell in the second and Mike Price in the third.
Tyler - not even...Koach Karl was a wide receivers coach in Denver before he donned the headset for the powder blue.
