Texas #7? do you know something the rest of the country does not? In case you haven't seen many Texas games this year, Vince Young is in the NFL now.
Watch more games, Scott. I live in Kentucky right now and nobody I talk to here with half a brain would even rank UK that high.
And just how does a two-loss Texas team get ranked higher than an undefeated Kansas team?
Georgia really took it Troy yesterday.
How many losses do Florida, Kentucky & Alabama have again?
I wish you could get more SEC teams in the top 20. What about Miss. St.?
Scott, the first 3 writers said it all.
You need to get over your SEC fascination - I cant imagine that writers from the south are submitting ballots any more skewed than this one for the SEC.
Does anybody else in the poll vote Texas in the top 10?
You could easily vote Ore 1 or 2. But 5?
For the umpteenth time, I think you waste your vote to get reaction on this blog.
That is why your poll does not factor.
Four Big 12 teams in your top 10? Neither of them could win the Pac-10 or SEC!
Your ballot continues to be absurd!

yep, the typical Wolf post, West Virgina can never fall out of the top 5, (#4) some Florida team is WAY overrated (Florida #11) and USC is around #20...why does he bother we know what it is going to be anyway?
The beat writers who follow Texas for the Dallas Morning News do not even put Texas in the top 4 in the conference. Have you seen any of their games this year?
Who's the idiot that voted a 3 loss Florida team as #11?
Scott, here is a partial comparison between your poll and the entire AP:
AP Scott
USC 12 15
TX 15 7
UConn 16 25
Fla 17 11
Ala 21 17
Ken 24 14
Cal 24 NR
Next time you vote, perhaps write a para or 2 motivating your more "unusual" choices.
I ignore win-loss records and just rank teams based on who I *think* is better. Example: Texas has two losses? Doesn't matter...I *still* think they're better than Kansas. In fact, there's really no reason to play the games at all. Cancel the season and hand out the trophies based on who I *think* is the best team.
Sincerely,
Scott Wolf
I'm surprised he isn't ranking football clubs from Europe ahead of Pac-10 schools.
What is that old saying about when the majority see it one way and you see it another, you're most likely wrong / a complete imbecile, and the majority is correct? Anyone remember the precise addage? Scott? Lord knows you must be an expert.

66 Why are you even posting? You are off the bandwagon! You're irrelevant here!
Echo the previous posts and my comments on most Wolfie ballots this season. Texas and Kentucky rankings are simply idiotic. Texas has almost LOST every game they have won this year. They are #4 in their conference, yet #7 in Wolfie's ballot. I SWEAR he does not watch the games. And, a 3 lost Kentucky in the top #15 is a joke. I wish that just once Wolfie would explain his ballots. But, he won't because they are simply inexplicable.
