In the spirit of Thanksgiving and the spirit of the pending new year, let's give thanks that Scott is not part of the BCS formula. It really can't stand to get more messed up than it is. I'm sure he is going to start voting for Manchester United next after Florida loses a game and he can't justify a Big 10 or Pac-10 team in the top five.
Jay#42 and Mike - Agreed
SC and Oklahoma will get more respect after the poundings they lay down next weekend. Should move them up to 8 and 9 respectively on Scott's ballot.
Scott finally got his wish...he can put WVU at #!...
Scott I know this is how you always rank the teams..WVU #3 or hight, some Florida team way overrated..but Florida with 3 losses at #5???
are you getting kickbacks from Urban Meyer?
WVA needs to lose against Pittsburgh while USC and OK win then USC goes to the big dance. Any given Saturday might NOT apply to WVU vs Pitt. I hope I'm wrong. Pardon my slang:
"It ain't happening baby!".
pathetic...he loves the Big East and ACC
SW, have you been inhaling the smoke from Malibu, the criminals from Lexington, KY at number 24? Did you check their record? SW, clear the brain cells in a hurry.
So Scott, you actually think that SC would lose to Kansas and the others ranked ahead of them?
Here are the rankings by the entire AP: Missouri, WVA, OSU, Georgia, LSU, V/Tech, Kansas, USC(8th), OK, and Fla.
#11 is Hawaii followed by BC, ASU, Tn and Illinois at 15.
The rest need not apply!
Scott can you please just be reasonable in your final vote of the season. If by some strange stroke of luck Missouri, West Virginia, and LSU lose, vote USC where they belong in the top 2. If they end up not making the national championship, in that situation, because some beat writer thinks he is God it will really suck.
Scott,
If your rationale centers on who is the best team regardless of record, I have no problem with Florida in your top five. However, that same rationale would dictate a higher ranking for USC who would be favored by Las Vegas against at least five of the teams ahead of them on your ballot. Stick to journalism.
