USC Wins If . . .
It wants to go to the Rose Bowl. Quarterback John David Booty completes a deep pass to wide receiver Ronald Johnson.
Tailback Chauncey Washington proves the Cal game was not a fluke. Tailback Stafon Johnson gets 10 carries and tailback Joe McKnight loses less than 10 yards. McKnight does not fumble a punt return. The Trojans refuse to run on third-and-eight situations. The defense demonstrates it can handle a mobile quarterback who can also throw. USC remembers it is facing Dennis Erickson and not Dirk Koetter.

I think they will win but PC better watch out...
If Erickson has them playing this good with their low talent level, wait until he gets a few recruiting classes in there.
We might not be the top dog in the Pac 10 anymore...espcially with our bubble screen/off tackle run on 3rd & 9 offense..
RickyIrvins:
I have been saying for a very long time that PC better watch out. He has left the back door open and basically everybody is in our backyard picking up Southern CAL talent. This 5 star BS is over rated. For instance, look how much time we have wasted on Booty and Mustain, outta state QBs, we could have Sanchez, playing backed up by Corp, with Barkley coming in. This is the lienage of our QB's and has more consistency.
What part of the quarterbacking game didn't you like tonight?
375 yds is an "ok" night!!!
guess you thought Todd was better than Troy Aikman also
who cares where they are from !!!!!
The majority of the 375 yards were RAC.
Prefer home grown players. It was the home grown players that got us back in prominence. This out state recruiting of so-called 5 star players is over rated. And now FL and others are starting to recruit in our back yard. With a population of 35 million and supplying the entire Pac-10 with quality players, I really don't see the logic to go out and get marginal players from out of state because some one states they are 5 Star.
guess you think Booty, is better then Colt Brennan, who BTW backed up ML. Who cares where they come from, I do and so did Bear Bryant of Alabama, after Sam Cunnigham lit the Tide up.
