What About The Fiesta Bowl?
One other scenario if USC loses to UCLA is that the Fiesta Bowl selects the Trojans.
However, BCS anaylst Jerry Palm believes the Trojans' chances of remaining in the top 14 are slim if it loses. A loss to a 6-5 UCLA team would probably be judged harshly by the computers and poll voters.

SW, are you Jerry Palm the best of friends. If USC loses! Why and how are you and Palm suffering from the lack of oxygen. What ever you are doing, its killing your brain cells. If USC loses.... GEEZ!
Let's cut the crap, shall we? The Men of Troy are going to take the baby bears out behind the woodshed on Sat, giving Dorrell a very intimate and personal send-off party. Now, the question is, who replaces OSU in the Rose Bowl if Mizzu loses to OU? Where does the Rose Bowl pick and who would they take? Hopefully not the Illini or Hawaii? Georgia?
If Mizzou loses to OU, the Rose Bowl gets the first pick since they lost a team to the National Title game. (The Big East does not have a bowl tie in so there is no other bowl that gets an early pick for this reason.)
My bet is the Rose Bowl picks Georgia. How great would that be? That's what I'm hoping for.
I put a whole bowl scenario under the previous post.
There is no way we are losing on Saturday, especially after last year's massive upset. I just don't see SC making the same mistakes they did last year against A mistake (UCLA).
If USC loses to an unranked team at home, the most they'll drop is a few spots. Oh, wait! That's LSU!
