One coach was aghast at the recent announcement that transfers Mitch Mustain and Damian Williams were not allowed to practice once the fall semester ended and believed it was the latest illustration of the compliance office taking an ultra-aggressive stance.
Remember, last year's investigation into the recruiting dinners at Papadakis Taverna restaurant required interviewing players the week of the big Cal game. And more than a year later, that investigation is still not finished.
