We hear recruit Chris Polk of Redlands decommitted from USC to Washington because he was turned off by all the wide receivers returning for the Trojans next season.

Is it a question of Chris being afraid of the competition, or is Chris under the mind set that he will have a better opportunity at UW? If he had stayed committed to the Trojans, would he had receive a lot of PT in 08 or even 09? Good luck to him and hopefully he made the right decision. I just hope that it is not the right decision when he face the Trojans. Fight On!

I thought at least one of the WR spots would be open to competition.

I've never heard anything bad about him so good luck to the kid.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
