Coliseum Proposal

The Coliseum Commission will give USC a long-term lease proposal that gives the university the right to keep an NFL team out while keeping the Coliseum under control of the commission.

Well, at least they're talking. It so often takes pressure to get any negotiations started, and this was no different. SC never had any intentions of playing fulltime in the Rose Bowl, but of course they would have to if the Commission did not talk to them. Now, it looks as if things are finally rolling, heading toward a compromise neither side loves, but neither side loathes either.
