Football Awards
Senior defensive Sedrick Ellis and senior tight end Fred Davis shared team most valuable players. Ellis, a two-time All-American, and Davis, the Mackey Award winner, became USC’s first co-MVPs since Paul McDonald and Charles White shared the award in 1979.

Howard Jones/Football Alumni Club Academic Award (overall academic achievement): wide receiver Garrett Green
Bob Chandler Award (underclassman with outstanding athletic ability, academic achievement and character): safety Kevin Ellison
John McKay Award (underclassman with the most competitive spirit): defensive tackle Christian Tupou
Courage Award: center Matt Spanos
Co-Lifters Award: defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis, linebacker Keith Rivers, safety Kevin Ellison

2007 Service Team Player of the Year: quarterback Mitch Mustain (offense). In 2010, Mitch will be named the Heisman Trophy Winner. In 2011, the first 1st Over-all pick in the NFL Draft. A future member of the NFL Hall of Fame, and in 2022, the future Governor of California! Only to be followed up by the Presidency of the United States.
