About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

SW, when you say "here's a little info regarding the Michigan-Steve Sarkisian rumor", your not kidding. That is "very" little information. What did you do, go up to the first person that you saw on Vermont Ave and ask "do you have any info on Sark going to Michigan". Come SW, get down in the journalistic mud and grab some real hardcore news. Fight On!
Saying Sarkisian "has not been contacted by Michigan" is not the same as saying that he has not applied for the position. It merely means that Sarkisian has applied for the position through his agent but Michigan has, thus far, shown no interest in hiring him. Not a surprise.
Why would Sark go to Michigan and subject himself to all of the abuse they heap on their head coach when he could stay at USC, be Pete Carroll's heir apparent for the next 25 years, and still get all the abuse, but be close enough to the beach that it doesn't matter?
One would think that Sark would like to go out after winning a national championship, rather than now after a less than spectacular season. On another note, does anyone think UCLA will actually hire Norm Chow as its head coach? Is he really college head coach material, despite being the best offensive coordinator around? Is FUCLA really trying to better the program for years to come, or just aim to beat USC in the short term?
Pardon my slightly off subject info which I am to tell you:
"Former" Atlanta HC Bobby Petrino resigned his Atlanta HC job to become Arkansas HC. This report was released almost two hours ago. He's a good offensive HC.
