Former USC offensive coordinator Norm Chow's interview with UCLA last weekend would not be classified as ``productive.'' That's not to say he's no longer a candidate, however, because it seems like there are fewer candidates for the job than when England hired a national coach for its soccer team.
Another pac 10 vacancy, another bad interview for Norm Chow. This guy can coach offense like nobody else... maybe he should look into charm school in the off-season.
Maybe AD's should worry less about who's good at kissing their @ss and more about who can coach. But who know, maybe Chow just got lucky with guys like Steve Young, Ty Detmer, Philip Rivers, Carson Palmer, and Matt Leinart. The more likely answer is that Chow is a freaking genius when it comes to the game of football (offensively at least).
But, these AD's want a guy to smooch their behind and win congeniality contests. Hey, Chow could coach my team any day of the week!
Well, Norm Chow has withdrawn his name from the ucla selection process as of around 11am today, the 20th!
