There was virtually no reaction when the BCS announced USC would play Illinois during the Trojans' team viewing of the selection show.

BTW, you should lose your AP vote putting 3 SEC teams 1-2-3 - including a 3 loss florida. and with your love-fest with texas, ranking them ahead of ASU - at least ASU gets a change to prove how clueless you really are
Well there's no doubt in anyone's mind that this is a real bummer. it's a lose-lose situation. even if USC beats Illinois..so what? they had a chance to move up in the polls could they beat a real good oppenent in say Georgia or LSU. I wouldn't be surprised to see SC lose to Illinois for just lack of motivation.
