About That BCS Title
USC quarterback John David Booty discussed the Trojans' BCS title hopes while at the Senior Bowl this week.
``After the Rose Bowl we knew, and I think a lot of people around the country knew, that we should have been in that game,'' Booty said. ``And we would have been if we hadn’t hit a little rough patch there during the middle of the season.''
Well, that "little" rough patch included losing to a Stanford team that SC probably would have beaten 19 out of 20 times, but not that day. You lose to the Tree, you do not play for the national championship. Ever!
