Linebacker Keith Rivers has signed with agent David Dunn, who also represents Carson Palmer.

Is it news that Rivers signed with an agent? Maybe. Is it news that Rivers signed with the same guy who represents Carson Palmer? I think not.
Could be a petpeeve, but I really am sick of seeing sportswriters fawn to agents as a means of gaining access to their clients. You certainly aren't excessive in this regard, but so many beat writers these days are.
