Basketball Update
Forward Leonard Washington is waiting to hear back from the NCAA Clearinghouse to see if he met all academic requirements. Washington signed with USC in 2006 but did not meet requirements. He is currently back in Louisiana.
If cleared by the NCAA, he could play for the Trojans next season.

When are we going to recruit athletes in basketball that are smart with a good head on their shoulders. Obviously the recruiting plan that we have is not working. When Washington State can get better players that WANT to stay in school for more than one year and USC can't that says a lot about the student athelets we are recruiting.
