Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."

Not sure Bowl appearances means anything anymore given the proliferation of junk bowls with 6 win teams...how about a list of appearances in quality bowls?

UCLA isn't at the top of the list? You would think the way the UC-Losers-Always fan base has been beating its collective chest this week, the Bruins would have to be in at least the Top 5? Oh, that's right, we're talking football here, which they don't really play in Westwood.
It's amazing that we have 46 bowl appearances and are in the top 5. There were many years (maybe somebody can tell us the time period - pre 1965?) where if we didn't go to the Rose Bowl we got to stay home and listen to the games on radio/TV. Note no other Pac 10/Big 10 team on the list.
