The guy is relentless. Traveling all over the country for the best players in particular states. Even though he does not land them all, he gets more than his share.
And there are bloggers who claim SC would be the same without him-- dreamers, at best, delusionists at worst.

It's a great country when one of the greatest football coaches in NCAA history can take pot shots from someone probably not even the most talented in his company's break room.

Pete is a bundle of energy who needs to be doing something; if the Long Beach Armada called to see if he would be General and Field Manager, he would probably go to the interview just to find out about the team and league.
I am more concerned about the defensive calls during the last two plays of the Stanford game

About Inside USC
Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC
graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for
the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet
message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this
moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in
antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
