Dept. Of Full Disclosure

Pat Kirwan of NFL.com writes favorably about John David Booty at the Senior Bowl, saying, ``A strong finish to this week and Booty could work his way into the second round.''
No reason to doubt that, except that Kirwan is perhaps Pete Carroll's closest friend and in 2003, an attorney alleged in sworn testimony that Kirwan received more than $100,000 from Carson Palmer's agent. Carroll denied that Kirwan was paid that money or that he delivered Palmer to the agent. But we thought you might be aware of this when reading Kirwan's reports.

None the less, Carson Palmer has turned out to be a pretty good NFL quarterback. So what's your point, Scott.

About Inside USC

Scott Wolf has covered USC for the Daily News since 1996. A USC graduate, he covered his first Trojan game in 1984 for the Daily Trojan. Scott is known as the "scourge of the Internet message boards," according to radio host Petros Papadakis. Despite this moniker, there's no truth to the rumor he takes pleasure in antagonizing the "Internet geeks."
