Early Answers
Here's a few of the Weekend Forum answers, brought to you by the Tennessee Titans, who will pay for the bulk of Norm Chow's salary at UCLA the next seasons.
Q: Is USC still on the running for Uona Kaveinga?
A: Yes. He visited this weekend and loved it from all accounts. Now we'll see if he makes USC the third school he commits to.
Q: Do you expect any real surprises on National Signing Day for PC and the boys (good or bad)?
A: Yes. There's usually a couple. USC's trying to get a couple national players because there isn't a lot in Southern California right now.
Q: You have mentioned in several posts that the running back situation was not handled well this past year by the coaches, and that players like Allen and Stafon were not ideally utilized. My question - does Pete in hindsight recognize that this is the case? In other words, is your assessment shared by the coaching staff and do they plan to make changes next year when we arguably will have even more talented runners pushing for a spot on the field?
A: Pete Carroll does not believe he mishandled the running back situation. He wishes Joe McKnight had progressed faster but never says Stafon Johnson did not get enough carries. And he always defended Chauncey Washington's carries. Next year, no one will have a birthright on starting or getting their carries, except perhaps McKnight, who can always make noise about transferring. So I expect merit to determine playing time more than this past season.
Q: I hear Joe Adams is coming on his official visit to USC next weekend and is on his official visit to Arkansas this weekend, with these two schools being the only two schools he is considering. Do you know if he will be introduced to Mitch Mustain, Damian Williams and Broderick Green on his visit? Will they be helping in his recruitment? Have they been asked?
A: He's already good friends with Green but he will meet all of them, you can be sure, during his visit.

McKnight transfer? I doubt it... my feel is that he'll leave after his junior year
