Linebacker Uona Kavienga of Leuzinger High told other recruits on his visit to USC this weekend that he wanted to play for the Trojans. Keep in mind he previously committed to UCLA and last weekend said he would go to BYU.

Come on, UK. A 2nd tier, cold climate, high altitude school in the middle of a nowhere where they throw more snowballs than footballs; or, much worse yet, an underachieving, basketball-mad, state school with an incredibly large LA inferiority complex coached by a gambling addict? Do you want to have a degree that will open doors for you in SoCal? Do you want to follow in the footsteps of other Trojan great LBs, like Seau, Tatupu, and Maualuga? Do you want to be on national TV every weekend, win championships, and have doormen at LA clubs asking what they can do for you? USC baby! Pistol Pete and the Trojan dynasty! It should be a no brainer, son. Fulfill your destiny, UK!

Shows how much you know of Tongans/Samoans. All 3 of the "Tongan great LBs" you mentioned are of Samoan descent. BYU has had significantly more Polynesians come in and out of their program compared to both SC and UCLA combined.
But, I would say that USC has had the most prolific Polynesians (almost all Samoans) play for them. Seau, Tatupu (both Mosi and his son Lona), Maualuga, McKenzie, Lutui (Tongan), Havili (Tongan), Maiava, Herschel Dennis, Rocky Alo, etc. All great Polynesian players. But, if you're talking sheer volume of Polynesians, no one (outside of Hawaii and Utah) can come close to BYU.

I saw this kid play against West Torrance this year and he really a solid player with some great potential. I was put-off a bit when his over-weight mother didn't stand up for the National Anthem and continued shoving Kava root or something into her mouth during the whole song.

That visit was before Chow joined the good guys in the nice part of town. Just a guess that UK winds up in True Blue along with Barkley.

I heard UCLA is not done with this kid yet and he could still recommit to the Bruins. Chow, a Morman, is said to be talking to Kaveinga about his faith. Really though, I think this whole Mormon BYU thing is over done. I guess that's the only thing they can sell kids on. Jews don't go play FB for Yeshiva University because of their faith neither do Catholics with Notre Dame. He can still be a perfectly good Mormon elsewhere. They even have that huge Mormon Temple in Westwood.

You should really take the word class out of your name, since it is obvious you have none. Calling his mom names? Come on. I'm sure he really wants to go to SUC now.
