When safety D'Anton Lynn of Celina, Texas, showed up to take a picture at the Dallas Morning News, he arrived with a USC hat, Oklahoma hat and a Penn State sweatshirt. Lynn is officially considered a ``soft verbal'' for Penn State.

I don't follow these recruits. I know they all were big shots in their high school, and they think of themselves as rock stars. But few will be big in college, and virtually none will be chosen by the pros. So, kid, enjoy your short-lived period of fame. And get that degree while you're at it.
