Simmons Unlikely

USC guard Marcus Simmons did not practice today and is unlikely to play tomorrow against Arizona because he re-aggravated his sprained ankle. Point guard Angelo Johnson also did not practice because of illness but is expected to be available.

Darn. The starting five is very good, but there is a huge drop-off when turning to the bench, and now the bench is depleted. This is very bad news.

Trojans take 2 from the Desert schools.

They are on the bubble right now for an NCAA bid and need to pad the resume.
