Thanks Pasadena
For another horrible mismatch by refusing to go outside the Big Ten Conference when choosing USC's opponent. Kansas, West Virginia, Missouri and with some negotiating maybe even Georgia were out there.
But let's stick to tradition. Today's attendance (93,923) was the highest since . . . 2006.

I couldn't agree more. Georgia would have been fun. A playoff would be even better. The Rose Bowl is a disgrace to college football.
Georgia would have smeared the Trojans in Travelers remains! The Rose Bowl did them a favor! If they wanted to keep the traditional match up, they should have brought Michigan out instead!
Michigan and Georgia looked like the top two teams of the day!
Hey Bill - Your copy of the Las Vegas Bowl is in the mail!
Bill, was that a 17 - 16 to loss in the Las Vegas Bowl? Hmm, I wonder how many bets Neu-weasel had down on that game. "It was just a neighborhood pool, that's all"!
We should be thankful that we weren't forced to play the ELITE WV team...theywould have easily knocked us out of the top 10 right Scott???
Down with the bowls! F the BCS! They are antiquated and dying. A playoff system would generate 3x the audience, revenue, and excitement. As well as judiciously reward the best "playing" team in the country - the 2007/8 USC Trojans, and the 2002/3 Trojans and 2006/7 Trojans - and not the lucky team with the "prettiest" season.
