Now you know why we wrote before the Oregon State game that O.J. Mayo was eligible. From USC's official press release on O.J. Mayo.
``The NCAA ruled it a violation, therefore at that time USC declared him ineligible and petitioned for his reinstatement.''
From the beginning, we expected USC's aggressive compliance office to do this. And they proved us right.
