Cousin Connection
Something to keep in mind regarding the commitment of Cathedral junior wide receiver Randall Carroll. He and Dorsey tailback Jonathan Franklin are cousins. Franklin is expected to sign with UCLA tomorrow. So that should make the next year interesting.

So, you're saying that Carroll is going to try to get Franklin to transfer after his first year as a bRuin? Should be interesting.
It should be very interesting! UCLA will make it a challenging year for southern cal...the way a rivalry should be. Not like in basketball, where southern cal just thinks that they're finally knocking on the Bruins' door.
By "knocking on the Bruins door" you must be referring to beating the uclans at home.
Speaking of SC basketball, which is not done enough by Mr. Wolf, the Trojans have to apologize to noone. A few years back SC was an Elite-8 team and only lost out to Duke. Last year SC was a Sweet-16 team, and almost made it to the Elite-8 except for an exceptional comeback by North Carolina.
Let's talk about Cal-Lite (ucla). They have won one, I repeat one, championship in 34 years. I repeat, 34 years. And they got humiliated by a Florida team not once, but twice. I repeat, twice.
So, LAWYER JANE (by the way, how original), try swallowing that, sweetie.
I can think of many more interesting things for next year.
UCLA on probation will be interesting. The masks are off now that they’ve hired professional con artist Neuheisel. Have those fat checks from Slick’s friends started rolling into Morgan center? Who’s going to play the part of Bag Man Sam Gilbert in Rick’s world?

Have those fat checks from Slick’s friends started rolling into Morgan center? How about those new and improved reduced admissions standards? Who’s going to play the part of Bag Man Sam Gilbert in the age of Neuheisel?
Come on Wolfie - you're reaching dude! Randall Carroll was the first commit, wasn't he?
Perhaps before your time, but as the SC beat writer you should know this: there were these two brothers - Rod McNeill and Fred McNeill. Rod went to SC and Fred went to UCLA.
Lawyer John, did you invite your wife into this hallowed forum? I thought that was against the Inside SoCal Bylaws?
DFWTrojan:
No, my wife is a psychologist; I'd never marry a lawyer. I like my women kind and sweet, and the law profession destroys that, or the law profession attracts that kind of personality. Probably a combination.
