There you go, Scott. The avg player rating is a much more insightful criteria for us in terms of evaluating this class than the # of players X rating formula which rewards quantity over quality. We know that we are young and don't need any QBs or RBs this year. I do wonder, however, if we are intentionally going to offer fewer scholarships this year because: 1) we have fewer available due to preceding years, 2) PC is saving offers while looking ahead to an all-time great class in 2009, 3) or, we do have more scholarships available, but certain players are not falling our way, and PC is refusing to bend his standards. That will be my question in your next forum.
Most befuddling for me....how in the heck is Notre Dame having such great success this year? Every HS kid knows that he has a great chance to start as a freshman? How can the athletes not have lost confidence in Weiss after this season?
Took the words out of my mouth, DFWTrojan, except for the Notre Dame references. Notre Dame has a storied history, as they like to say, and there exists a spirituality on that campus that I have never experienced on any other college grounds.
And, after all, at its essence, isn't that what it's all about.

My wife went to U of A so we went to the game were Neuheisel brought out his self-proclaimed “best coaching staff in America”...they treated Chow like he was the Messiah and my wife and I looked at each other with disbelief. Kind of interested if Joe Adams is going commit or not cause he's been a soft verbal and took his visit to Arkansas. Are we recruiting him as a DB or WR?
