Does he do Bar Mitzvah's?
Here's former USC quarterback Sean Salisbury's statement after getting released by ESPN.
"I have created a brand and it’s time to expand into other opportunities in TV, radio, Internet, publishing, movies and public speaking, among others."
How come he didn't mention Nutrisystem?

Salisbury was a very good USC QB...his commentary, not so much. He talks a mile a minute and his commentary is often a stream of consciousness. I'm not sure what brand he has created. Movies...ha ha, very funny.
Was his contract finished, or did ESPN fire him before it was finished?
His contract was not renewed...supposedly he wanted more money. Plus, it doesn't come as a surprise considering the scandal of supposedly taking pictures of his manhood with a camera phone and showing it off to all his ESPN co-workers to enjoy a year or so ago.
So he has created a "brand." I guess that is t.v. talk for having created an image that many people recognize. Kind of reminds one of our politicians. Create a recognizable brand with soundbites and an easy to digest forum, and hope that image sells, and you become president.
Is this a great country, or what!
I know Sean. He has worked hard to get where he is. I hope that his ego doesn't blow it for him.
I like Sean and thought he was one of the better sportscasters. Always opinionated, but honestly, I felt his opinion was always quite insightful and intelligent. At the end of the day, however, I suspect his "off the field" behavior was a PR risk for ESPN, who has suffered way too much neg PR from bad "off the field" behavior in the last couple of years (Berman, Raines, Irvin, etc., etc.). But, what do you expect when you employ a bunch of ex-jocks who make a boat-load of money? I think Sean does have a strong "brand" that can easily be transferred to new endeavors, and I appreciated his work on TV. Good luck, Sean, and Fight On!
