Here's a few more answers, man.
Q: What class will Josh Pinkard be next year, junior of senior?
A: Redshirt junior.
Q:) Scott, why do they refer to Portsmouth as Pompey?? PS: They got screwed on hand ball in the box, I guess the Pac 10 sends their refs to England in the offseason??
A:) Pompey is the nickname for the city of Portsmouth. There are several legends about its origin. Here's one: Bombay was part of the wedding gift of Catherine of Braganza to Charles II. Portuguese seaman saw a resemblance between the two ports and may have called Portsmouth “Bom Bhia” which to English ears sounds like Pompey.
Aren't you USC fans glad to know this now?
Q.) Has the coaching staff ever considered playing certain players on both sides of the ball - i'm thinking of guys like cj gable, allen bradford, rojo - who might not get enough touches on the offensive side as they would like, but if they played on defense as well, then they'd get more minutes and be able to contribute in multiple ways.
A.) There's certainly the talent to do it, but no they haven't seriously considered it because they worry these guys will sacrifice learning the game plan, etc., if they split their time between offense and defense. The one guy who could handle it is Taylor Mays, but so far, no plans to do it.

Even though Josh Pinkard will be a redshirt junior next year, he has already stated that this will be his final year with the Trojans. With his history of injuries, I think he is hoping to get one injury free year and then get to the next level so he can make money while he is still healthy. He is scheduled to graduate.
