One wonders why USC doesn't hire Markas to do football and replace that clown Arbo, who maybe the WORST announcer ever. USC deserves better than Mr. EGO. I grew up listening to Tom Kelly, you knew what he was but he never, and I mean NEVER ran down an opponent like Arbo does, Hoffarth is correct, Arbo is classless.

Arbogast is an abortion as broadcaster.

I like Arbogast. He has a pleasant radio voice, is a die in the wool Trojan, and makes a game exciting. I recall a tight Washington State game a few years ago, I was on my way to a party and had no access to a t.v., and Arbo had me on the edge of my seat.

Oh yeah, a word about Rory. Another pleasant voice who has an even approach to the announcement i.e. is not a phony with his excitement like that ucla basketball announcer who is impossible to listen to for me.

I agree with you on the ucla basketball announcer. He make every one of their baskets sound like they just won the game at the buzzer. The opponents baskets are given in monotone. Throw in ucla's old-guy cheer-leader and the towel-waver and it reminds me of a high school game. Now, having said all that, we need to get Petros away from the microphone at our basketball games. It's not pro-wrestling.

Arbo is one of the biggest phonies out there, Lawyer. Try listening to a game without injecting himself into the action...then go back and listen to Bob Miller and Vin Scully...not once do you ever hear them insert "I" or "me" into the broadcast....that's what a true professional is...

WolflsDaMan has no "I" or "me" in it, but I guess that is not necessary.
