Here we go with another round of this battle.
Q: Just as you reported a couple of weeks ago, it looks like Randall Carroll is going to be a BRUIN? In fact, I just read through a credible source that he has already given his silent commitment to the Bruins... YOUR THOUGHT...
A: I won't be surprised if he ends up at UCLA despite the fact he originally committed to UCLA. His cousin is UCLA recruit Johnathan Franklin, so there's a natural tie-in. But we'll know on Carroll soon, I believe.
Q: Thanks in advance for answering this Scott. I realize that you have previously reported that Tim Floyd would not replace John Brady, but do you think that if LSU made Floyd the highest paid coach in college basketball, would he leave? Or what would it take to lure Floyd to LSU?
A: I know two things for a fact. Floyd says he will not leave USC and people within the athletic dept. are nervous about the LSU opening. That can lead you to draw your own conclusions.
Meow! Master, are you sure about Randall Carroll? What "credible" source does this Bruin speak of? Sounds very speculative!
It sounds like something that might come from BRO or the green board. I imagine Tracey Pearson would be all over a rumor like this. That guy is more of a snake than Scott Wolf.
I guess we will just go with Carroll's words that UCLA is all talk right now and he is still 100% USC.
An unnamed source is much more credible than the recruit himself???
Signing day is a year away and until then the "unnamed sources" will rule the reruiting boards.
