Spotlight question
I was asked in the Weekend Forum about any memories of Kenechi Udeze. In my experience, Udeze was one of the easiest players to cover at USC. He was soft-spoken and thoughtful and always considered a team player. Everyone knows Udeze went through a dramatic weight loss at USC but a more significant transformation occurred off the field, when he became a mature, young man who kept his thoughtfulness during his four years.
He also did not go through a long drawn out process when he decided to turn pro. He announced right after the Rose Bowl and that was it. Udeze also took the high road once he made the decision, ignoring ludricrous comments within the program where he would get drafted. Overall, he was a pleasure to cover.

Nice words.
Udeze was perhaps the most celebrated member of the second coming of the Wild Bunch. He was truly a joy to watch.
